Publication Ethics

Publication Ethics

PANGEEA is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal follows the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for deciding which of the submitted manuscripts should be published. They evaluate manuscripts based on their academic merit, without regard to authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help authors improve their manuscripts. Reviews should be conducted objectively, and personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents.

 Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process. The journal applies to a double-blind peer review system, ensuring objectivity and academic integrity.

Plagiarism and Misconduct
The journal use plagiarism detection tools to screen submissions. Any form of plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical research practices will result in rejection of the manuscript.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of a manuscript.

 Corrections and Retractions

The journal will publish corrections, clarifications, or retractions, when necessary, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

PANGEEA is dedicated to ensuring ethical publishing practices and maintaining the integrity of the academic record.
