Geographical environment changes in the Orăştie-Alba Iulia corridor are analyzed, focusing on natural and anthropogenic factors shaping the landscape. The study covers geomorphological processes such as erosion and landslides, and examines human impacts from urban expansion, industry, agriculture, and infrastructure (including the Orăştie-Sibiu motorway) on air and water quality, soil, biodiversity, and hydrology. It also discusses modifications to landforms, wetlands, and areal pressures in relation to protected areas.
