ATTRACTIVE VALENCES AND METHODS TO VALUE THE CULTURAL BACKGROUND IN THE MOŢILOR LAND

Abstract

The cultural landscape resulting from anthropogenic factors has attractive valences that need to be valued in order to achieve durable development. This case study evaluates the landscape potential to characterize the cultural background of the Moţilor Land and identifies five main categories of cultural landscape, along with their vulnerabilities. Valuing the cultural landscape can drive regional development while preserving the identity and authenticity of the Moţilor Land; strategies include regional and local factors aligned with international trends.
